What: This program is designed to benefit high school students who express interest in the arts. Ideally fashion and performance art. Throughout the entire 8 month program, students will have the opportunity to work with fashion professionals in creating one of the most well known productions in Milwaukee. Students have their choice in picking which area they would like to volunteer their time and efforts as long as there is opportunity available. At the end of the 8 month program, students will be presented with an award for their participation and also offered employment opportunities with area businesses if they are available. We serve as an influential reference and community building organization.
Who: The Fashion Revolution is an annual fashion production in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. Each spring the production is planned and put on in front of hundreds of people. Participants involved are mainly local and Midwest fashion designers, models, and performers. The main goal of the Fashion Revolution is to first offer an incredible experience for those involved, providing them opportunity to excel in their career path. Secondly our goal is to showcase local talent in the brightest light, bringing visibility and value to the people who are involved. Thirdly, we dedicate our existence to helping to serve the community, and by doing so we offer a scholarship to individuals interested in pursuing art-related , college degree programs.
When and How?: Student’s interested in volunteering in the Fashion-ED program must first complete the initial application provided by their school or downloaded from the Fashion Revolution website. If the application is considered, a follow-up phone call will be made and an interview set-up to determine placement. If a student is under the age of 18 years, we must have a signed “permission to participant” document on file signed by their parent or guardian. We accept volunteers throughout the 8 month time frame.
Where: Volunteer hours will be served at the Fashion Revolution headquarters located at:
Studio One Photography

Why: The Fashion Revolution’s educational scholarship belief is:
“We believe the youth should have positive and educational avenues to express themselves and their talents creatively. When this is done it serves as a positive reinforcement and motivation for them and the community as a whole.”
What FashionED does for the community, is offer a creative outlet for the youth to not only express themselves but to also see the fruits of their own labor once the production is finished and ready to go FRONT STAGE!
If your child is interested in participating, please contact us for applications!
